If you are interested in becoming a plumber and earning your plumber certificate you can find all of the information you need right here on Plumbing Training. Some of the certificates and training you would need to be a plumber include the City and Guilds 6189 Level 2 Technical Certification and you will also need specialised knowledge in water regulations and unvented hot water. The 6189 City and Guilds course is relatively new and replaces the older 6129 and 6089 Certification program. This will drastically improve the efficiency of the plumbing training course.
The course has been altered to put more focus on repairing, maintaining, and fault finding and there is no longer a need to have the Sheet lead Weathering course at a diploma level. Instead it can be used to enhance your experience in this field and is usually considered an add on for the plumbing training course.
The best part about getting plumbing training is that you finish in an eight week course and can have your first paid job soon after that. The courses aren’t hugely expensive compared to other careers and you don’t need to train for years to get the experience you need to get paid well. You can start working within days of completing your training.
Depending where you take your plumbing training you can also get free tools included with your course to take with you so that when you are finished your training you can get started on work right away.
